I am reposting again. This is a no rust 3.0CSI. No hidden issues. I will verify any questions about the car's condition. Thanks Allen

I am reposting this message and pictures. My original post was to get an idea of the pricing for the vehicle. I hae now priced the vehicle at $16,500. Since the original posting I have replace the rear calipers, rotors and brake line hoses. If intrested please contact me at [email protected] Thanks Allen

Hi I am a new member to this forum. I hope this message gets through. I have a 1972 3.0 CSI which I am interested in selling. I have had the vehicle for about twenty years. It was imported for me from Italy by a friend. The car has had little driving (76377 K) and has been garaged during all the time I have owned it. The car has a spot or two of pitting but no rust. I do not believe there has been any major repair to the car in Italy. I ran a magnet all around the car and found no dead spots There was some nose damage when my son drove the car on his high school graduation about
twenty years ago. This repair was done with lead and not bondo. When I first got the car I had some ding repairs done. I believe it was painted in Italy before I bought it as there are some paint wrinkles in areas adjacent to some trim. It is blue in color ( I do not know the fanciful name for the color) The interior is all original with a minor small tear in the head but no other significant deterioration. The ignition key switch pins are not working and the key turns freely. (no impact on starting or turning the engine off). I have another key switch with key that I got from a wrecking yard many years ago I have included a picture of a variety of miscellaneous parts which include the switch and key To make a long story short. I do not have the passion for the car that many of the forum members express and would like to sell this vehicle. I do not no the fair value of the car and would like to get it appraise for a fair market value. Can anybody help me with some idea of the value of the car or give me directions on how to get some idea. Thanks for your help I enjoy the forum . Thanks Allen

Indicating the continent where the car is located might provide useful information to a prospective buyer.

California car, garaged on 4601 xx St., xxxxtown USA.
Euro version with kmh speedo and velour seats probably made just for the 6 cars
that were sold into Italy.

Interesting car for sure. Good luck with the sale.

Hi Allen...
Your post is fairly long but missing a lot.

Does your car run?
Do you have a mechanic that has been working on it?
Any service or repair records?
What state or city do you live in?
Does the AC work?

Feel free to send me a pm IF you live in California.

Awesome, Arde--I guess mine was one of the rare "Italian" CSis, too. :)

According to legend, mine was first sold in Naples. Had the same sexy (but sun-shredded) velour seats as this one, minus the seatbelts. My VIN is a little higher, FWIW.

By the way Allen, your color is Baikal, which you've captured on the plate in one of your pics. It also might give prospective buyers here a little more confidence in your assessment of the car if you didn't insist on "no rust." It's there, somewhere, just a matter of how much.
