i was in Qatar for the last week, today is my first day trying to fight through the 8 hour jet lag

Jumped on the (BMW) bike with the wife and went to the beach, of course! It's Saturday!

Also detoured to drop her at the local Demo party circus, er, caucus, so she could do her patriotic thing. This forum isn't going to hear my opinion more than to say "whattafreakinmess we are in".

Over and out!

Still working on the Fuel Injection conversion and hoping Sharkfest in April and Vintage in May!
hi Phil,

cheers

Knee deep in the triple weber carb conversion and a little panicked that I am behind schedule.

Chris, you are going to LOVE those triple carbs. Put them on my '73, from about '77 through '80 when I sold it. I liked the sound of them better than I do the LH fuel injection of the engine I now have. Good decision, and SO PRETTY when done right, as I know they will be when you are don.

Cleaning out the damn rental property where I live during ski racing season, then going to find snow in Switzerland.

I've been busy soul searching on whether or not to buy an '59 Alfa Giulietta Sprint project car. It's not as if I have tons of time, but it's not everyday you find one with zero rust (stripped to bare metal including the entire undercarriage, all panels save one have been nicely repaired, primered and thrown in the back of a garage for 15 years with a mountain of parts). $10k to finish/paint and then it's just a little assembly. These are very much the precursor to he 1600/1800/2002's we know and love so much ... But w Italian good looks.

Besides, E9's are so reliable there shouldn't be much to post in the spring. Everyone is out driving/couping!

Busy the last two weeks driving around the new Fulvia with no license plates.
Started with timid night runs and got more brazen every day. I was caught today in broad light one block away from the police station. The officer said the color of the car was my weak point... Getting the plates tomorrow.

+1 keep up the good work, it will be worth it in the end when you hear the induction music of the triples

Been remodeling (re-located water heater, washer/dryer) and frame/drywall a new closet and ceiling.

House projects suck.
