Bit if an odd one, but I am trying to find the white edging that goes on the headliner handles/slots ( not really sure what they are) pictured. I know a lot of coupes do not have these, but the material looks like a thinner version of the white edge trim in the trunk. My old trim has browned over time and no amount of cleaning is bringing it back.

Does the paint hold up on the rubber? I
As Thomas76 wrote, it does hold up. SEM paint is formulated to bond to vinyl and other plastics. Note that you should also use the SEM cleaner / preparation prior to applying the color coat.

it is otherwise fine, just discolored through and through

Discolored or just dirty? I cleaned the similar material used on the edges of my trunk caddy with mineral spirits and a toothbrush, and it came out looking pretty good. But your headliner pocket edging probably gets more sun exposure than my trunk caddy did, so that may have yellowed it.

if you don't have good results, you can buy replacements from CS Werk. that being said, i have had great results with SEM vinyl paints / color coats. great stuff

I tried the cleaning approach - scrubbed with ever type of cleaner possible, and left it sitting in a bleach mixture for a day. Much better, but still heavily discolored. I even tried lightly sanding the top layer off, but it permeates the rubber

For replacements, CS werke has the thicker trim used in the trunk (which I bought for that), but do not seem to have this thinner/smaller trim. I am sure there is something out there that closely matches, just could not find any. Either way, ordered the paint and will see.
