White coupe - Monterey

I saw a white coupe in the showroom at Dodi's in Monterey. $29k written on the windshield. I do not know anything else about it. No affiliation. It does not appear on their website.

I am the owner of the Monterey E9 5 speed $29,000 obo.

The car is a 1970 2800 CS. White with blue interior.

I live down the coast in Half Moon Bay and decided to check out a couple auctions, and see if I could find interest in my car. Dodi at Doti auto sales wanted my car for this weeks auction activities, for his showroom, and to show he deals in cars other than just Porsche.

I bought a couple E9's from a collector, but the car with the alpina rims (I am keeping the rims) is the 5 speed. I bought this car from http://www.carbuffs.com/. The clutch hurts my knee, thats why I am selling it.

This car has none of the major rust issues common to the E9 because the car has always been well cared for and garage-kept in California. This is a color change car. 26 years ago it was painted white. Original color was silver.

It is a 1970 2800 (e9). The body has 118,000 miles. The engine and transmission – mileage unknown. Asking price $25,000

Condition. This car really likes to be driven. The fuel injection gives it a smoothness and quietness the carbureted coupe does not have. It has a new exhaust system, the engine is a 3.0 from a later model car, and same is true for the fuel injection system. It has a 5 speed, upgraded sport suspension, disk brakes (originally it would have had rear drum brakes) new interior including reupholstered seats, restored woodwork, new leather dash trim, restored door panels, vintage Nardi steering wheel and cold AC. It looks and drives excellent.
