Who sits on a car? Would you sell to this guy?

Who are these annoying people who think it's okay to sit on a car?

Next they'll just drape themselves over it for no particular reason...

nice, all in those pics is period correct,
lady on the roof doing well, no worries, she is not heavy and sitting close to A pillar, skin to paint contact perfect
lady on hood, hmmm, you have been distracted by gravity, but jewelry on wrist sets off the danger warning alert,

Limitless enthusiasm!

How about resting your Coke bottle on a GT40?

This week at La Carrera Panamericana in La Congoja.
I think the coke bottle marks are moot at this point...

It's amazing that no one was seriously hurt.
The safety standards are quite high. Back in the early 2000's you could just wear an open face helmet, a regular driving suit, no window nets, etc. After a fatal crash in the mountains on Mil Cumbres they revised the standards. Nomex all around, including undershirts and balaclavas, HAN devices, closed helmets, window nets, etc.
Here's a video of the wreck of our 64 Nova in 2005 on La Bufa. Both the pilot and co-pilot suffered arm injuries as there were no safety nets, but were able to walk away.

I brought the car back from Mexico for the owner. I stopped at my SIL's house for the night and my niece was going to the prom.

Used to do a lot of motorcycle riding had all kinds of bikes. The first rule you learn is NEVER touch another's bike unless you have expressed permission. Second rule (mine in particular) never take another's for a ride even with permission. I apply these rules to my E9.
