I'd read about this car and in fact, Willi Martini's background and history. If you haven't gotten a chance, I highly recommend. Great story. This car is awesome. No affiliation.

I saw it on the back of a flatbed tow truck at Laguna Seca so don’t know how it was a key part of the celebration.

It was there, but didn't make the big show on track.

Got to see it being built up before paint.
I think it came out great.
 
So, how do the gas tanks work?

Relocated filler fills the new aux tank then into the stock tank for dual tank capacity?

Curious....
 
I think this is the same car, based on hood, mirror and reflection in mirror. Not sure, hard to tell.
