this is something that any upholsterer can make.
check out post 17 in this thread posted in the FAQ - i did drawings of the ones i had and posted it.

Okay everyone, this thread is the new place to post drawing information, parts dimensions, data, etc. Any of the drawings on this post are only to be used for individual usage and not to be used for commercial profit unless approved to by the individual who created them.

BTW - for anybody that has a set of original welts for the door / side panels ... please print the pdf and see if they are remotely close. they were close to mine, but a bigger sample comparison would be good.
 
with vinyl you have the option of finding the right color SEM Color Coat. i honestly don't think i would worry about making them out of leather ... vinyl is more durable around water and you can repaint it if it gets damaged. upholsterers have the core material to wrap the vinyl around.
 
Has anyone purchased from CS Werk? The images they show do not show the curve that comes around the bottom of the door, pieces seem straight only.
 
yes i have ... several things. all good stuff and Christoph is great to deal with. i haven't bought these pieces though. to make something go around a curve you can do what the factory did, cut some slits in the part that goes behind the door panel.
 
Scott, I have purchased a ton of stuff from him and been happy with all. No issues. I guess there are no US sources then? I have the old ones on my car now and I have all the stuff to make these but I thought I would spoil myself for a change.
