Can someone please explain the timeline for the window switch change from the round peg to the spade connectors... AND a source for both?

Thanks

I've rebuilt the internals of the early style, they can usually be saved. The parts are very robust, but they get dirty with carbon and quit conducting. A simple clean and dielectric grease will bring em back.
The chrome bezels on the other hand....

Hey Peter, I'm looking forward to seeing your car, Cars & Coffee next month at COTA- you should make it, it's quite an affair!

Yeah, included in the parts bin are a handful of working switches with really crappy bezels.
