Windscreen washer hose

Since the CSL bonnet don't have the torsion bar to support the windscreen washer hose I wonder how I can direct the hose from the engine bay to the bonnet. Can someone post a picture of the original solution please?

this image (carbed 1st series car) shows that it follow roughly the same routing, only 'free' hanging mostly:

I don’t think the red car has the original solution…… if at all there was one. What seems to be the case is that the hose appears from under the air filter box with enough slack…see pics

The "free hanging" solution seems to be the chosen solution.
BTW, I would prefer too use a black hose like the Golf Yellow car instead of the "garden hose", I think it looks a little "cheap" in comparison. But I better stick to the original to avoid general dissatisfaction
