Windshield Source

Hi all, I decided to paint my 3.0Si, and since the windshield is cracked, I'll pull the glass and replace.

Anyone have a source for the seal / and the windshield they've used? Or have one?

Call Carl at La Jolla Independent for the seal, he has some in stock. Not sure about windshield but he will know for sure.

When I had to replace mine, I searched and had my local glass shop that specializes in older vehicles search as well. We found two, one in Florida, one in California (I'm in NC). If you find a good used one, grab it. New was difficult when I was looking about two years ago.

I purchased it from BMW last year. The cheapest windshield I've ever purchased.

Hey Neal,

I bought the whole set (all the windows) from Walloth & Nesch in Germany.

It's for my rebuild so haven't installed any of it yet. Hope it fits.
They have the gaskets as well.

I got a windshield today out of a junker e3 just to have as a back up. As well as the metal trim.
