Windshield trim

Hi...I'm having the headliner replaced on my 73 E9 and the front and rear windscreens have been removed to facilitate the HL replacement. The shop has now advised me that they need new molding, front and rear.

Does anyone know where I can get these items?

Any assistance will be most appreciated.

By "new molding" do you mean the soft, anodized aluminum trim that fits into the rubber gasket? Or the rubber gasket?

The aluminum trim is re-usable. If the shop destroyed it in the disassembly process, their competency is in question and it should not be your responsibility to replace it (though they might need help locating it).

Rubber gaskets - like all rubber - do degrade with age. It might be time to replace those.
