Windshield wipers recommendation

Some sources say two 15" wipers which is what I have on my 71 (not much coverage) some say a 19" driver and a 18" passenger. What do you use and is there a brand that works well for these old wiper arms? The plastic ones I have don't want to lay flat?
 
Original wiper blades were 15 1/2” long. If you still have the original alu blade holders you can buy Bosch inserts which have a plastic backing and cut them down to length and install.
 
I was able to find the original wipers (close enough) at AutohausAz for a low price $6.69 see attach image

I used Trico classic wipers. Driver side 16”, passenger side 15”. Great fit and function a that classic silver matched well.

Hmmm. Based on this thread I used these 18" stainless steel wiper blades, they worked great in my 72 Euro CSi. They are 18" but go on there well without any overlap and have worked in my occasional rainy Seattle weather

Hi Everyone.
Just wanted to communicate that I found a set of beautiful SS wiper blades on Amazon that work great on my E9.


COST: $24 each, including shipping.

These will require a different mounting clip than the one that comes with the new blade. If you have these clips already on the old blades on the car, you can un-clip them from the old blades and transfer them to the new SS wipers, they will snap into place with a bit of determination. I was able to message/slide them into place and lock them on...
