I am looking for one pair of satin silver wiper blades, bracket mounting,for 3.0 CS year 1972, prefereably new but I do not mind if they are used.

is it the silver part you really need, or just the new wiper inserts? the nice thing about the old style was that you could change just the wiper insert. i believe that the pre '74 insert blade is approx. 7mm wide, which is narrower than the bosch blade sold for the black arms. i have found that the NAPA exact fit blade worked pretty well. i also have a set of Trico 7mm x 400mm blades which i haven't tried yet. i can try them and give you the model number if this is something you need.
if you need the silver arm (bosch), you should try LaJolla Independent ... i believe they may still have them. if not there has been somebody from Germany selling them on ebay.

Yes, what I am needing is the silver part plus the insert.
i have found some BOSCH wiper blades, satin silver, in ebay germany but i am a bit confused because the seller could not confirm me if they came with the bracket mounting system.
In the photo, in ebay, the arm had hook's end.
The literature in the box clearly includes in the list of cars the BMW 2800 CS. i do not know if they come with adaptor for arm with bracket.
i'd appretiate if you can confim me TRISCO wiper blades ref. and that they come with bracket mounting.

the trico or NAPA wiper blades fit into the silver blade holders that were stock to the 2800cs. the silver blade holders came with a piece to fasten the holders to the hook ends of the arms. the newer bosch holders came with black plastic fittings to connect them to the hook ends ... in my opinion, they stand out too much.

yes it does ... i think i like the Trico 46-160 better though ($5.50 w/ free shipping). the napa accu fit WIP 601698 ($5 ea) has the blade holder sit further from the window ... the trico looks more vintage. i bought the trico on amazon.com Both fit in the silver holder
now for the caveat ... i haven't driven the coupe in the rain to use either one.

This is the end of the wiper arm satin silver I have in my 3.0 cs.
Could anyone confirm me:
Is this arm OE in 1972 3.0 CS?.
Is it the so called bayonet ?
Would it fit into Trico wiper blades?
I have found NOS Bosch wiper blades ref. 3398110515 but as I mentioned the seller does not know if it fits into my car wiper arm. Not even the seller knows if it comes with an adapter for bayonet mounting system.
The box includes Bmw 3.0 cs as car where the wiper blades fit into. It says for cars from 7/73. Will it work in my car.

That is an e3 arm, funny how they are different than e9, they are just like 2002 but longer.
