Just did mine
Once the switch is out I carefully put it in a drill press and drilled out the rivets that hold it together, you could also grind them flat and then carefully pry apart, once you get in there it's pretty simple and a little lube on the plastic parts and spring helps. Putting it all together is a little trickier since you no longer have the posts to expand. I used a piece of bailing wire, insulated, and twisted really tightly around the whole thing, sounds a little "micky" but I was worried about clearance and it seems to work really well. Those switches are expensive if you can find them!
