Wood Boat

Spotted this beauty in Lake Placid, NY. Does anyone know much about these? The restoration is immaculate.

@Stevehose and @paul cain are both into boats and know a fair bit about them. I know Steve has a wooden boat he uses in Vermont or New Hampshire, which (I think) would be similar to the boats used in upstate NY.
