whats the best course of action to clean up the underside without access to a lift? This is in regards to rust and general cleanup. I realise I could use a rotisserie however I dont have anywhere to store it after I use it.
You mentioned a rotisserie, which suggests to me that you are stripping the car to the chassis. If you are going to that extent, buy and use a rotisserie, and then sell it on Kijiji when you are finished. You can't beat the access and convenience (again, if you are stripping to the bare chassis).
Thanks for the tips!I have done it both ways, the rotisserie is nice ( have one now ) If you do it on jackstands, put a old tarp down so all the s**t is contained on that either way, it's not a lot of fun Get a few wire wheels that come to a point, they are very good for getting into the corners
Thanks, Rick
David, send a PM to @m5bb. he did a rotisserie restoration on his coupe and has a lot of pictures. Are there any threads that show how best to mount the e9 frame onto a rotisserie?
Thanks, David
