Since recieving our seat covers and full carpet set last year, we recently reached out again to ask for a yard of 5200 marine blue vinyl to recover our front kick panels that someone sadly cut for speakers but have had no answer for two weeks.
Does anyone know where else to source this material from?
Many thanks.

Someone else asked the same question less than a month ago. It seems they are in "a transition."

Here's the earlier post:

Hi Elliot,
let me ask my saddler. He did my seats in marine and should have some leftover!

Hi All. I'm Lucas Philips, owner of Newark Auto. Established in 1907, we are a manufacturer of classic car interior components in New Jersey. I'm writing to announce that we have acquired worlduph.com and are integrating its product line into our existing business.

Newark Auto and our team bring generations of experience in classic car interior manufacturing, along with our commitment to quality and customer service. All World Upholstery products will now be manufactured in our New Jersey facility, maintaining the same specifications and quality standards you expect, backed by Newark Auto's reputation and expertise.

I know that some of you feel disappointed by the final months of World Upholstery under its previous ownership. While Newark Auto has no connection to the former management and ownership, we are committed to rebuilding trust with the classic car community

New orders are now being accepted through worlduph.com, with production and fulfillment handled entirely by our experienced team at Newark Auto.

For those unfamiliar with Newark Auto's history and standards, I welcome you to visit our facility in New Jersey or reach out with any questions about our manufacturing processes and quality control measures.

Thanks for the update and the information, Lucas. Do you plan to offer anything additional for E9s beyond what World Uph was offering? And do you plan to continue operating worlduph.com for the long haul, or eventually plan to migrate sales to newarkauto.com? I realize you may not know yet, but figured I would ask. Thank you.

Lucas, welcome to e9 coupe ... and we are hoping that you and Newark Auto can do great things. please let us know how the e9 and e3 community can help you make better products. if we can help update the patterning or help you find the most correct materials, we would be happy to help ... and can bring along some new customers.

@offpage -- You're welcome. I'm only 27-years-old and intend to grow this business for quite a while. In the long-term, I intend to expand our catalog of e9 items + other interior items for classic European vehicles. In the short term though, my goal is to integrate World Upholstery's catalog and production into Newark Auto, which involves digitizing thousands of patterns so we can cut them on our automated CNC fabric cutters and increase efficiency/consistency. Eventually, I imagine we will only use the Newark Auto brand name, though I'm interested in your thoughts on that.

@rsporsche -- Thank you for the kind words. You and your community can reach me at [email protected] or [email protected] -- they both go to the same inbox, which I monitor. I encourage the community to share product ideas and/or feedback on our current products with us!

Lucas - thank you for coming here and opening a discussion with our group. I wish you well with your new acquisition.
