WTB 1971 ignition switch

Hi Guys,

Since yesterday my E9 is stranded.

What I would need to get her back on the road is a 1971 ignition switch with cable tree attached. Apparently no longer for sale via BMW.

Below some pictures of the part.

I don't remember the year, but I saw one on ebay last week. No idea what they're going for, so not sure if the price is right or not.

Yep ,

They only have the key and it cylinder but not the lower part I need.

I just bought one at ECS Tuning their part # 166284. It was $108.63 plus shipping. Their search function is pretty lame so you may need to call them in the US (Ohio I believe) at 1 800 924 5172, use live chat or contact them through their site. I am supposed to receive mine in 2 days.

At the moment I'm expecting this used part to arrive. If the switch is still functional I should be saved.
