I have wasted hours and liters of brake fluid and cannot get working brakes on my 2800 CS. So, I need a master cylinder. Or a rebuild kit. Using a NOS master but it must be bad. I have wasted so much time on this and am very frustrated.

What is the diameter you need? I think I have a new one that i mistakenly bought for 3L that is wrong size for mine. I’ll gratis it to you if it’s a match.

Hi Steve. Should be the 23.81 if I understand correctly. I can take apart the old one that was on the car and measure the bore. It also has that residual pressure valve for the rear drums, but I can work around that.

Hey Chris, why don't you send it to White Post Restorations They will bore it out, sleeve it in stainless and of course rebuild it. If you want, also try Apple Hydraulics

Is there a way to measure the diameter without disassembly? I am not sure if it's in the right box or not.

if you need the smaller dia 22.20mm master cylinder the p/n is 34311120479 and Bimmerparts.com has them in stock (not affiliated). The 34311120832 has the larger 23.81mm bore
