WTB: 2800CS cylinder head - immediate need

What is that plug that says removed?

I think it says "void if removed" and is probably one of those devices that tells if the head overheated so the rebuilder won't be responsible if that occured.

Cylinder Head warranty heat tab


The very center of the heat tab is a very soft solder type material made to melt at a certain temp. The whole tab does not melt off, just the center spot. They are used for warranty purposes on remanufactured engines and cylinder heads.
