Will a half shaft from a later car work? Pretty sure I have one from a 73.

It looks like as long as it came off a coupe rather than a Bavaria, it should be the right length.

I have a half shaft, but it is the bare shaft without the CV joints. Does this help?

That is actually perfect. I have new boots/CVs but destroyed the old half shaft trying to get the worn out CVs off. Send me your venmo or paypal info and what you want for it shipped - thanks!
