WTB 3.5 emblem or 2500 emblem so I can make 3.5 emblem

The 2.5 emblems have been NLA since at least the mid-80s, when I tried to get one, even in Germany.

A machine shop could probably whip up one for you in a jiffy, if you gave them a drawing of what you wanted. Heck, given the frequency of this mod, there may be a market for it on the board here.

I wouldn't do it I would leave the original badge on and enjoy the look on the guys face when you cruise way from them.

Like the original look--

The BLUMAX wears his original 2800 CS badge with tongue in cheek.

When asked he flys by the CSi's due to the potent 3.5L built around a Hans Herman cam and fitted with twin 38/38 Webers--delivers abundant torque--and as I recall my teacher telling me--torque is what makes the wheels go 'round!

My lil' massaged 3.3L likes to hide behind its ol' 2800 badge too. But then, that's not all it's hiding... 8)

Certainly becomes owner preference, after all, it is your car.

Have fun, I sure have.

some one made the 3.5 part and it came out very nice

I have one that I am not going to use so it is now up for sale.
I just need to find the original post so I know what I paid for it...

3.5

Hi;
I looked up on Mobile Tradition and you can get all the numbers and letters new from " Get bmw parts.com ".
The 3.0 part # 51141816994 is $34.00
The 2.5 part # 51141837972 is $8.48
The CSI is also available but you will need the # from Mobile Tradition.
With a car like you have is it not worth $50 to have it right?
Good Luck

3.5 emblems

I made an emblem (combined both 3.0 and 2.5) for my car. I did some research and there was a company in Escondido, CA that have a laser/water jet cutter that could make one for you(don't remember who but will check). Now with 3D printers it souldn't be that hard. Also someone on the forum was making these and selling them a while ago.
