Does anyone have the A/C knob with the snowflake on it (I believe)? It's the top one of the two. My car isn't here to take the picture. I realize there are different A/C units but mine has two knobs, one for the fan speed on the bottom, one on top that adjusts the temperature. I need that one. My flat spot on the back is worn and I don't necessarily want to glue it on permanently if I can find one that fits properly. It doesn't have to have the snowflake but I think that is the proper one. A blank one will work too as long as the back will fit nice and tight and turn the knob.

2nd - is the plastic piece that attaches the top of the armrest handle to my door card. It broke recently. It looks like RealOEM part number 51411815235 (Schwarz black). Driver side (Left Side) door. I don't need the chrome piece, that is still intact.

3rd - I need a 1979 valve cover with the recessed area for the acorn nuts. I thought they were all the same but vary it seems quite a bit. Even valve covers with the recessed area for the nuts that has that metal plate underneath in the middle of valve cover doesn't seem to not work either. My car is a 73' but the head off my old motor is a 79', that's why I need a valve cover that will fit a 79'. The newer 3.5L had a newer valve cover with the oil filler cap on the wrong side for a 79'. Happy to report the 3.5L upgrade on the new motor is working out great, still breaking it in. Will update my build thread once I get it back to put finishing touches in engine bay (new stickers).

Any help is appreciated. -Thanks (PM me for phone number if that works better for you)

Awesome thank you, good to know....50 Euro plus shipping for a little plastic piece, crazy. I guess good to know for last resort. I'm going to hold off for someone on the board. Thanks again!!
np! i'm ordered a decent amount from them so shipping was offset by that :D

Shane, unless you aren’t using the 1.3 Motronic distributor, the front timing cover is different as well and early covers don’t fit.

Please let me know if the stud that the knob fits on is a half circle or oval.
Thanks

I basically just need one to cover the valves while it sits on stand. I could just throw a rag or towel over it but I’d like to find one that fits for astetics as it sits on engine stand in my garage. LOL. I’m keeping my matching number motor. Not that a matching number Bav motor will do much to increase value if I ever sell but since I have it, hate to separate the two. Maybe some day it will matter to someone.

UPDATE: HB Chris was kind enough to find the Armrest Cap at Mesa Performance in Costa Mesa when he was there and picked one up for me $40....all set there.
The valve cover just needs to be pre-81 or so, earlier valve cover. Still looking for the A/C knob, half moon with the flat notch, not the oval. But if anyone has an oval back knob with the Fan symbol, I'll take one of those as well.

Hi. I have the half moon knob with a blank face. I am waiting for some from a friend in Canada next week and I believe they have decals on them.

How's $35 including shipping sound. If I get one with a decal later I will trade.
Please send me your full name and address. You can send me a personal check once you receive it. My address will be on the package.
Thanks

It does have the correct half moon back though. I’m not too worried about it. He said he’s maybe getting the proper one in next week. For now I just want one that works and isn’t stripped in back. But thanks for heads up.
