WTB--bare metal trunk bow in good condition

have you thought about stripping it and powder coating it black? weren't they originally satin black? or raw metal?

okay - good to know. somehow i think mine were painted black by the PO - to match the car.
thanks Chris

I certainly could remove the bow and strip the paint and have the bare metal protected. But I just got the car out of the restoration shop after 7 months of paint and mechanical improvements. I would like to beg, borrow or buy another bow to be able to drive the car while restoring mine. My goal was to have a Coupe to drive, and now I actually have one.

I don't have a spare unfortunately.

They were bright zinc plated, as is the counter part; the lock mechanism. I had mine replated for the correct look.
Usually companies doing the zinc work have a turn around time of 3-4 days. Check up with your local shop, they may even do the 'unpainting' (glassbead or paint stripper).
If so, your car would be just out for not more then 3-4 days.

Regards,
