Searching for a Saddle, a light brown World Upholstery color trunk carpet. WU can only cut the German loop which is too dark. So I am looking for either: A. a good used Bavaria trunk carpet in light brown(for reference, Saddle #621 at WU) or, B. an old, ratty, dirty, carpet in bad condition I can send to esty as a pattern. I will then buy the domestic too narrow Saddle 621 from WU and send to her.

Could you send me a photo of the carpet? And photos of your Bavaria. I purchased mine a month ago, 1972, Agave, automatic, ac, a B35 motor from a 1992 7 series BMW.

A respray in the original Agave eight years ago.

I am also looking for the clips to keep the seat belt in the correct position on the B pillar. Photo attached. I am in Bucks County just north of Phila. Are you a memeber of Dirk's BMWCCCA?

Not exactly like your picture, but...

Similar generic ones available on Amazon and eBay and your FLAPS.

I was a member but have not renewed been so busy lately. I have owned several Bavarias over the last 35 years. The first one we purchased in the 80 (a 73) as our family car it was a a Polaris 4 speed. We kept it for 20 years. It was still running when I stripped it and had it towed away, it was not a classic then but just an old BMW. The second one (71 2800) I got free because it had been totaled after the owner spent about $15000 switching it from auto to 5 speed and putting in a 3.3 engine and adding a/c. It sat for 10 years in my yard before I got it running again, it is a driver not much to look at but fun to drive. My third one is a 73 auto came from Cali I got i from an auction in Pa in 2017. Nice looking car but needed lots of little things fixed or corrected, like why do you have two antennas one front one rear or two different front seat belts neither from a BMW? Two emergency flashers, a Pep Boys mirror on the driver's side and a BMW mirror on the passenger side and on and on. It is a fun car to drive but far from perfect. I also have a 74 parts car 4 speed. I am off 95 in Silver Spring Md.
