WTB. Blue Driver's Door Ashtray

Hi Harry, hope all is well and well prepared for the upcoming holidays.
Harry, go on EBay.de and type in ‘BMW E 9 Aschenbecher’ (ashtray) and there is a pair of blue ones in there.

They were also used on the e12 rear doors. Blue was a common colour for the interior.

I have a great pair from my e12. It was in dry storage for about 20 years, and the rear seats hardly used. If you struggle come back to me, but would want to sell as a pair.

Just a heads up that the driver’s and passenger ashtrays are the same. You can also find them in the rear doors of e3’s and e12’s. Lastly, you can take them apart and replace or swap the vinyl color.
I have some spare ashtrays that I don’t really want to part with yet. I can give you the blue vinyl insert though if you send me whatever color you have.
Just keep that in mind if you can’t find Blue...

Bummer. I wish there was a bit more mercedes crossover. The headlight wiper motors are nearly identical but the shaft is larger on the mercedes. There are some very close d-jet parts. Nothing seems to be a direct fit.
