Hi guys, turns out the original compressor on my E3 is not producing the high nor the low pressures it should (it does but not as high, or low as it should) so I'm looking for a replacement one. It's the Bosch swash plate also used on the E12 and perhaps other early models such as E24. PN 64521365073 is available from BMW but it's around $740, after discounts and shipping. Does anyone have a *known good* one available for sale?

It looks like the one below. The configuration of the hose connectors is unimportant to me since I can replace them for the ones found on my compressor. Thanks!

In the back of my mind I have lodged some emphatically negative feedback from a trusted source. Besides, if I'm going to buy a used compressor (a bit like buying a used light bulb...), before I go the remanufactured route, I'd rather buy from a trusted board member.
 
I have a sanden compressor w/the special bracket to bolt onto M30 motors. It's still on my CS with red plugs on the ports...it's almost new. I was going to put AC on my car but I have lost the urge to deal with it. I have 4 other cars with AC, so if it's that hot. I will drive something else. ;) Now I am looking for a NON AC center console etc...and I am selling off my AC parts.

You have photos of the compressor and bracket? There are several compressor/bracket set-ups for the M30.
