Stevehose had the paint stripped from his brass tank. I loved it so much I had it done to mine. Certainly not everyone's tank mod. Steve, might you show us a photo of yours?A radiator shop did mine. Cheap
Interesting question. I like the polished brass but my car is Polaris. Kind of metal to metal color wise.that's what i am planning to do - fix mine but i will keep the other as a spare. finding a good radiator shop these days is the problem. i won't be polishing the brass though ... polished brass with ceylon seems like a bit of a clash ... but i guess i will look at it before painting

It will be painted satin black like the brake booster and the now blue wiper motor.
