I'm in search of the brackets/ adapters to allow early bumpers on late model cars. Coupe king used to offer them and maybe others

The maker of those passed away years ago.Regardless, you will want to weld in metal to close up the openings. Shane’s will bolt to outside of frame rail, just need to drill two holes on each frame rail. Fifteen years ago someone had the round adapters you mention but I have not seen them in a long time.
That is an elegant solution. Similar to the kits you can buy to convert 74-76 2002s to euro bumpers.Mine were custom fabricated, I asked if he wanted to do a run of them and he just said, "if the price is right." That means at least $550 a set I think but he sounded like he wasn't really interested in doing that. There is a market out there for anyone interested I think, IDK?
What is the difference betwen the 15.125 and the 15.5 dimension? What is the length of the short leg? I will draw this up in Fusion 360 to document this. That is an elegant solution. Similar to the kits you can buy to convert 74-76 2002s to euro bumpers.
Don't think there is a demand for e9s since it's only 74s that had big bumpers.
When I did the conversion 5 years ago I bought brackets from Coupe King. I took photos and measurements.
