Once you get the brackets you will see the end "elbow" on the right is not a perfect 90 degrees. There is a slight angle to account for Left and Right Bumper. You will know which is which in the mock up once you are able to slide them along frame rail and see why you need the extra bend on the long end. You will see it more clearly in person.
Also, be prepared to be patient with the install for fitment. You will have to drill a hole on each side to account for where the bumper wraps around fender. After drilling, we think BMW may have plugged two old holes to accommodate the hastily designed '74 bumpers as the drill popped right through hitting the mark right on the nose. Fitment is key, leveling and drilling only once will be the hard part. I will send a couple more pics of us lining it up.
This will all make more sense once you have them in hand you can start mocking up on the coupe. Obviously the last pic is still in mock up as the end of the bumper holes have not been drilled at this point. Finished pics in middle show level. It's a good idea to use some tape like we did as the bumpers can gouge paint and if not using OEM BMW bumper, it may be even more tricky with fitment depending on the quality of the set you receive.
