Hello I have a 1972 Bavaria and I

Desperately need a Bmw E3 clutch slave

Hopefully local? or does anyone know 1 that shares similar components? Maybe I can rebuild mine.

Please and thank you in advance

I was in Salzburg 2 years ago - it's worth a visit

Which kind of clutch slave do you have?

I believe they call it a external clutch slave

Yep, same here, that's the expensive one. I rebuilt mine, it's easy of it's in good shape on the inside. Get an ATE rebuild kit on ebay or Mesa et al, not expensive.

Do I just search for ATE rebuild kit? and / or Mesa et la?

Thanks a bunch!

Mesa Performance, they are somewheres in SoCal...Jim Stansfield, he will take care of you there

Al

ps, or if the trans is out and you need a clutch also, change to later bell housing with bolt on slave...you have to change some of the clutch components also...

have these two, for sale, the hose is no more available

freshly renewed set, repainted, all new seals, rubber boots, bolts, nuts, washers, and so on (using ATE products)

Search Penske, the BMW Monterey site does not list all parts or part numbers. There is another #10 - part # 21521103191 which is NLA for this particular cylinder. None on eBay right now. The other one you mentioned will likely not fit.

So if DeQ will sell you his, that's a good option.

It would be Item #10 yes?

Question given that the kit is the same for both... could I just buy a slave from Sachs SH6010 (bolt on model) and take it apart and use the components??
