I saw this part at RealOEM when I was looking for the pads that the E3 hood props sit on when the hood is closed...

WTB-E3 Pad that hood holder arm rests on

Here's a picture.... I need both. I can't find the PN to see if they are available new. If anyone has it or can find it that would be great. 2 good used ones would suffice also. It does not look like an E9 has this pad. Thanks.

The problem is (as @HB Chris points out) what is the part referenced by @Dixon P and where does it go? I looked closer at my engine compartment today and could not see a place for it.

It's the rubber grommet that goes on the hood between the hood torsion lift bar.

Thanks @Dixon P . I must have removed those before prep and paint and replaced them after paint, but then forgot all about them.
