WTB E9 Window clutch BOSCH 0142800004 - Found one, no longer needed

You want the rear window door motor transmission, those are long ago NLA.

Best thing to do is replace the rear window motors to the 1980s E28 5 series rear motors with the integral transmission.

Understand it’s NLA new but looking for a used one. This is for the rear windows, not door.

I have early and late wormgears and motors in my part collection. Most where parted out from e9’s in the late 80s and are in good shape.
If you can’t find anything near you, let me know (but I’m in germany so shipping is not so easy/cheap).

Thank you for that insight – will it only work on the rear windows of the e9? I'm also in need of the platic gear for the front left window, any thoughts?

There was a topic about it. Please look by search function.

In most of the cases good cleaning and re-greasing can still work for many years.

Only rear door E28 motors will work in E9s. You will need 2 rear lefts for the left side & 2 rear rights for the right side. There is a little modification as the screw holes are slightly different & the E28s use 2 wires instead of three.

Thank you – I will investigate. I also heard that you could get the plastic gear fabricated in metal? Or is that a myth!?
