Figured out why my rear window would get stuck every time.
Well, besides the fact is was in need of lubrication and cleaning I found that a couple of teeth on the inner gear were broken.
If you have one or two at a reasonable cost let me know.
The part I need is pictured.
Thanks

I need the gear box. Not the motor

Hi,
Just to confirm I need the gear box that attaches to the motor for my right rear seat window.
The motor itself works fine.
These gear assemblies can be swapped to either side as they have posts for the motor to attach on both sides.
I would like to get two to have a spare.
Also, just make sure they wind freely through out the entire 360 degree range.
The worm gear is fine but there is a couple of teeth on the large worm wheel (I think that is the correct term) that have mashed teeth.

The gears are pressed on and not really removable, correct?
Has anyone removed the wheel somehow without damaging it?

Let me know a price and shipping cost to 97229.
Paypal?

Gary at Autobahn Services in Rickmansworth has one for the early window motors. I know as I bought it to replace the one he used to fix my windows. Seems to be a common problem!
