I am moving this from General Discussion to here, anyone have this?

I would like to buy the relay socket that will fit into my empty relay holder by the battery next to the high beam and horn relays, I am going to wire up some driving lights and want it to look stock. Preferably one with some wires still attached to it. Thanks much.

some additional info

hi, stevehose

when you say the empty relay holder, you mention this one (the one arrowed without number)?

by the way, can you tell me which is the use of numbers 1 and 2

which use do you intend for the empty one, front fog lights ?

Yes, that is the slot, the other slots are for high-beams and horn (not sure which is which). I bought a pair of NOS driving lights (I like the look!) and want to keep the installation as stock as possible. Right now these are mounted with special clamps so I didn't have to drill holes in the bumper, I have a center bumper section on the way, the less nice one of the 2 will get holes drilled, if I ever want to go back to stock I will put the original bumper back in without holes. Cheers,

Steve

Steve,

Send me a PM or e-mail, I am out of town in northern CA but may have what you are looking for at home.

Are those Hella 160's or Cibie 45's? They look great, do they shake very much and are those the mounts from eBay sold by Bob in New Mexico?

Chris

Chris,

They are Hella's and yes the clamps came from Bob. The lights are not wired yet so I can't comment definitively on the shaking. I mounted them to see if I like the look before committing to the drilling, then the bumper came up on eBay so now I can drill one and keep the other pristine. The clamps are high quality, but they are limited on the holding power, they will twist etc. over time no matter how tight you have them but I would recommend them if you don't want to drill as I haven't found anything better as a temporary mount. I would expect them to shake as well due to the slightly higher center of gravity with clamps on and the temporary nature of the install. I'll PM you, thanks.
