mine cracked and doesn't close to second latch position very well anymore.

If this cross pollinates with the E9 then I have one. I'll check realoem sometime this weekend. If you can verify that would help also.

If you loosen the four screws it should move inwards a tiny bit which will help your problem. I just did this on the 2800.

False alarm, sorry

Thanks, I think my previous moving in of the latch may be what cracked it.:-o my driver door rubber is intact but very squished so that may have lead to slamming.
Maybe, maybe not. Funny thing, I tried a used one and for some reason It seemed to be different latch? That was a few years back tho. I will try adjusting it again and revisit my parts to recheck why the other one didn't fit.
According to realoem it was widely used.

I wonder if the crack would take a weld.


Hey Marcos here is a link to the cross reference. I may have posted the want to buy prematurely. Looks like a new part might be available for reasonable. Thanks for the offer and if a new one doesn't become apparent I will follow up.
