I am. looking for the driver and passenger door window stopper parts JamesE30 found here a couple months ago.

I need two parts for the left door/window mechanism.

First part is #12 in this diagram:
PN: 51326746102 or 51326746103
I need one for the left side.

Second part mounts inside the top of the door, I can’t find the Part number. Left and right seem to be the same, I need one.

Chris - are you saying cars with motorized windows (which seems to be like most, no?) do not have these stoppers?

I don’t understand the sardine can reference?
 
Chas, Which motors do you have? Sardine cans with a separate transmission and three wires up through 2/72, or later two wire motors with circuit breakers? Sardine cans use rubber stoppers mounted to a stiff spring, later ones use metal stops on the armatures themselves.
 
Ummmm, I’m not sure?? I am converting to the E28 motors which is why the doors and windows are disassembled. See photo that shows the motors ….

Those are 3/73 and later two wire motors, you have a 73 3.0CS with the two circuit breakers under your dash. They are very similar to e28 and they bolt right in. You can see the adjustable metal stops at each end of the assembly. That other part is for manual windows only. Since you have them out remove the rear guide rail and clean the steel rollers with internal ball bearings, it should make a big difference

To be clear, you are saying I am not missing anything?? That is good news!

BTW - I have a 74 CS 3.0; I guess it is the same (in this area anyway) as the 1973?
