Hi all, I’m in the search of a left and right bracket in the nose of an e9 which are attached to the splash guard of the front wheels. See the picture.
But I do have an additional question, a contact offered me the brackets in the picture (1 NOS, 2 replicas) they don’t look the same, is it correct that these are the headlight brackets and the ones I’m in search of are the blinker brackets?

The 'blinker brackets' to me mean different parts then either of the ones in your images.

The blinkers have a seperate metal bracket, that pulls the blinker tight to the fender. It has 2 m5 holes for it. W&N sell them.

what you are referring to (encircled in red in your pic ) is this bracket, as also seen in my pic below with the screw driver. this bracket can be easily identified by the large oblong hole.
It locates 1 screw of the front headlight assembly, but also acts as a ground point for the blinker wire. In my picture you're looking into the car from the front, having removed the right front grille.

Erik, thanks for your reply, I recognize the ones you refer to from W&N. But the ones with the NOS sticker on it should be somewhere on the top left corner of your picture if I’m correct. I haven’t been able to check with my other coupe, but need the big bracket with the big hole in it, the other ones on my picture probably also and the ones you are referring to, while I have already the left or right one.

I wish you find it OEM NOS. Much easier from some donor E9.

On the other side this part can be very easily replicated (e.g. laser cut + wise bending)

It’s strange actually that W&N don’t have it, both types of brackets are indeed quit easy to make.
I have found someone who might have them, but am still open for offers from others here!
