Anyone have or know where I can purchase these rubber covers?

I believe they are for the front indicator lights.

The best source is a scrapyard.

Interesting to see the original. I knew they existed, missing on my car as well.

After user nwdbayarea has found his, I'd like to be next in line. ( I am one of these originality goofs that wants to have the exact ones)
 
I have a nice originals I can make a pictures of in the afternoon if you like.

I have bought poor condition scrappy E3 indicators only for the rubber tubes. AFAIK originals were never available as the indicators were delivered with cables and rubber on it. But maybe I'm wrong.

They are from E3, but I suppose they should be the same or similar to E9 ...

If anyone could confrm or correct. :)

The one from the pic in the first post look to me like the e9 part I have in my head. These longer parts you pictured are definitely different.
(But likely they'll work to keep moisture out quite well)
 
Thanks. I have no comparison, but the plan is to use the ones by special holes to secure wiring against water. I like this solution.

Anyhow...

I would like to see E9 type of rubber grommet.

According to picture from the beginning of the thread it looks to be short with angular wire output but might be this is just a deformation...
 
I have a second grommet (in the same less than ideal state) with the same angle as pictured at the start. Unless they both were under a similar stress my guess is the angle is standard.

The one that was on mine looks the same and matches the angle of the terminals. If all the pieces are there and the rubber isn't all dried out you can try super gluing it together. I did that on the internal shift boot that is NLA.
 
Would be really interesting to see genuine E9 grommet in correct shape with the ruler to be able to know for the future.
