Having replaced mine, I wouldn't touch a used one.
Walloth-Nesch sells the ignition switch & complete locksets.
I was wondering about that @tferrer. I think I have 2 options going with a new part. W&N have an e3 switch which looks to be the same but will require soldering my wires to it, being rhd. The other is to replace the whole assembly with the post 72 new key barrel, new steering lock assembly including switch and solder my wires to extend which is expensive, but maybe it's smart to replace the lot given the age. I'm assuming the assemblies are interchangeable. Any advice gratefully received.

Thanks for that link @deQuincey, I spoke to Alexander at W&N who could not definitely say the two assemblies were interchangeable, but your side by side photos of them suggest they are, so I have ordered all parts. The e3 switch apparently will not fit.
