Oem is pretty rare, they are easy to break.
And different between years
Only the rear is different based on which window motor.
Here are the strips that Alfaro ( @alprada70) made and I had them installed on my Coupe. He also makes the matching strip for the rear panels in 2 different sizes.

@DavidPaul - what i can tell you is that the originals are often bent, scratched or both. finding originals that aren't significantly damaged is NOT easy. i probably have a set of damaged ones i could sell you
Drew, thanks for sharing the pictures. Is it the angle of the photo or does it appear that the lower trim strip is maybe a 1/4 or 1/2 inch too long ? Looks like it my be extending beyond the door panel just a bit ??
Either way, your pictures look great and I'll plan to reach out to Alfaro and order a set.
These strips can be sourced from MB as new. Since they have very few NLA parts I'm guessing they are still available part # 124-698-13-80 but more expensive than the ones I bought at $44.28 each. They are exactly the same but I can't remember if they are the same length. The fasteners from MB do not work but the original ones do. The original fasteners are just as hard to come by. Juan Ortiz at Juan Ortiz interiors at g mail dot com makes the fasteners for the MD moulding and I bought a handful of them for my project. I think he would be willing to fabricate and sell some to Forum members as he is well imbedded in the SoCal Coupe Mafia.

I pulled the plug and bought one of the MB strips off Ebay, NOS for $30, I will get back to you all on quality, fitment etc.
David--My panels are completely custom and the strips do look about 5/16" too long because of the thickness of the leather/backing materials. If you were to inspect a dozen original door panels,you will find the OEM strips are the exact same length as these. They would look perfect if they were 1/4 to 5/16" shorter. I have the strips mounted so the long end is by the door hinge so you don't see it when the panels are on your doors.
David-Here's the rest of my reply. The bottom alum. strips are not longer than the doors,just slightly longer than your panels. Because my panels were custom-made with thicker backing material, I had to get a machine shop to lazer cut new baking tabs that hold the alum. strips in place. I have the complete set of Alfaro's correct backing tabs to mount the alum. strips in the original holes in the OEM backing material. You would only have to buy the alum strips from Alfaro. I can sell you the backing tabs for $120 + shipping.---Drew
Well, the MB part is about 10mm too long. Also as may not be evident in my lousy photo, it has a convex surface while the E9 part has that slight concavity.
