would anyone have a door latch mechanism for LH Door they want to sell.........see per pick below.
The cam is worn as shown and as a consequence the door won't lock into its final position. I could trying to tig weld a piece on but I don't think you can weld this metal.

i suggest that you set a WTB thread on the PARTS area

Got it sorted .....put my Dremmel to work and ground it nice and even............closing the door is now a dream.............just a gentle push and thump its closed. :)
What adjustments did you make with the dremmel? Asking because my drivers door is tough to open, it is the last little lift on the inside handle that allows the latch to release. Not sure I need surgery like you have done...

Sound as if you problem was a little different from mine. If you are having difficulty with the inside door latch not having enough movement to open the last little bit......then move the inside door handle mechanism forward a touch (there are slotted holes in the door for this) this will take up the slack on the pull rod and should fix your problem. If I have understood your problem correctly.

Thanks Paul! My passenger door has been driving me crazy. Unless i push it hard with my hand on the door, it just bounces off without latching. I've spent hours adjusting the pillar side stop, but was not in a position yet to pull the door latch mechanism for inspection.
Saved me a ton of trouble-shooting!
