WTB missing rubbers

Hi guys,

Looking at pictures again and found that my trunk mechanisme is missing two rubbers.

Just back from the local BMW dealer but as could be expected part number 51245676219 (part 17 in the below drawing) isn't in stock anymore. I'm missing both sides.

So I hope that maybe somebody can help me in finding these rubbers and making the Cs a little more original. Many thanks in advance;-)

Darn it Phillipe - NOW I know that I am ALSO missing these two parts!!! So - if anyone comes up with a source, I'll be getting a pair as well.

Hi Gary,

I know the feeling. Not a day going by without discovering things.

Think that makes this a great hobby, always something to do, to improve or to look for, you just never get bored when you own an E9.

Lets hope some of these surface. Nothing as frustrating knowing that you miss/need something and not finding it.

They are not rubber, more a hard thermoplastic. Might have a spare lurking.

I have two spare caps from my parts CSI. If I ship the armrest to you (which I still need to examine) I can throw the caps in the box. Agreed that they are not rubber.


If many people are missing these caps it would be a good candidate for 3D printing...
