WTB: Moulding lower left/right

Still looking to buy lower molding for left side :(

W&N dont have neither left or right.
 
i bought a set from W+N at the end of last year as there was no stock in the USA. according to getbmwparts, it is NLA. good luck in finding a set. have you considered taking the original ones apart and refinishing the metal? might be your only way to have new looking trims.

Problem is that i am missing it on driver side...

i guess that you are going to have to find a used one and recondition both of them. there is so little difference between right and left that you can use them interchangeably. you will want to find one / two of them in europe as something that long would be expensive to ship from the USA.

if BMW doesn't plan to continue making these or remake them ... it might be a good product for Chris Bier (CS Werke) to consider.

its the chrome trim on hard rubber mounting that is mounted onto the side of each rocker cover.

Looking for used one indeed. I think there is little chance for new one.

Will check if any car has similar to built them maybe w123 merc...
 
not sure if a BMW dealer in europe can do what US dealers can do ... check the inventory of the system. i have found a few parts by having a parts guy do a BMW NA search. i know there aren't any in the US system ... but supposedly there were supposed to be more in august 2018. of course we all know that BMW doesn't always come thru on their promised dates ... but it would be worth asking a euro dealer to check if any are coming or if BMW AG lists them as NLA.

the good news is that Real OEM doesn't show it as ended

Asked already. Both NLA and they have no idea if they will be restocked.

I was checking moulding rocker panel from e12. It might work just need to see it in person and measure it before buying new ones.
