I am looking for THIS seat part ( Please see pic with arrow). It is a spring loaded clip that secures the seat recline rod to the seat back. It has a steel pin with the spring clip mounted to it. If any one has a 'throw-away' or parts seat I would like to get this part from you thanks! I can't find the part on penske. DCG

I have two "parts seats" from a 72 3.0 CS USA, but I'm not exactly sure what you are pointing to in the photo and how hard it will be to disassemble the seats just to pull those parts out. I'll take a look at the seats later when I get home from work.

seat part details

Jabloom... here are some pics of the part and one that shows the kind of clip and what it sort of looks like. The one on the seat mechanism is shorter and beefier...
And one of the pics shows the two parts the clip connects. It is not side specific. You simply tilt the seat back forward (like you are getting into the back seat) and it is easy to see.

It is used to attach the seat recline arm or tube to the seat back.

Hope u can help me out! Thanks DCG
