Looking for some hard to find stuff. Let me know if you can help. I have a few leftovers to trade if you're interested.

Defroster vents, both, unbroken.

Headlight access covers, both.

3 dash securing clips.

One partial/broken door seal. Doesn't matter which side. I need the complete undamaged D shaped portion that runs up the B pillar, and a partial section of the inverted V shaped one across the bottom. The rest I have and can glue it all together.

NEW left rear windscreen aluminum trim, part # 51 31 7 740 167. Someone bought the other 3 before they went NLA, but I'm left without this one in new condition. I would trade all 4 used pieces for this one new piece (or cash, arm, leg, whatever). Long shot I know, I'll probably just have to polish up the old one.

The following was misplaced during the resto, but realistically probably won't turn up. Need to visit one more shop before I buy these:

Windshield wiper arms, both.

Exterior side window trims (the part that holds the rubber and felt, hopefully with rubber and felt included), need 3 pieces, both rear and driver's front. The passenger's front managed to survive.

Fender grilles, both, black.

The detail around the center of the X is lacking compared to original, just my opinion. Of course it's nice to have any option available.

Last I knew you could still buy the wiper arms in black ... You just can't buy the silver ones ... Since you are buying black grilles I would think you would want black wipers. They are different though = mounting wise

If you need silver, I may have a spare set, I don't remember if i sold them or not
 
Windshield trims - give consideration to sending them to Speedway for repolishing / ceramic coating. They do beautiful work

I am very sure that black grilles are still available from BMW for fender and hood ... At least they were middle of last years

Looks like one black wiper arm is available, but one is not. The car has a lot of black trim, but still the silver strips around the windows and the belt line. I don't think either color wiper arm would look out of place. The silver ones are actually chrome plated?

Very early 2800cs were chrome. My '71 has satin. BTW, I sold my spare set of satin arms.
 
Still need most everything. Especially need a door seal and wiper arms and window trims.

Found some wiper arms from a Bavaria. Still need window trims badly.
 
E3 wiper arms are straight at the end, like a 2002, and not curved inwards in a loop. They will work but use different blade holders.

Yeah I figured that out. This is not the kind of restoration that requires the correct blade holders :-)

Hi Layne;
Are the Bavaria arms the same as the E9 arms. I thought they were quite a bit shorter? I have a set of E9 arms if you are interested.
