WTB passenger wiper arm /or set 1972 coupe/mine fell off

Somehow my passenger side wiper arm came off while I was driving and I am hoping to find a replacement. Happy to buy a pair / trade if I have parts you need etc. Hoping the community can help out with this! Open to comments or suggestions.

so here's the first question - did the toothed sleeve come off the post with the wiper? or did the wiper just come off. if you aren't sure, take a pic of the passenger post and show it to us

Yes, That's right !
The toothed sleeve did come off with the wiper. There is now a threaded shaft that half the size.

Same thing happened to me exactly. The wipers are hard to find but the knurled nut is even harder. I bought the driver side wiper platform that holds the shaft from Tomhorn (on E9 Forum) in Germany. It comes with the larger nut. Once I got it I pulled off the knurled nut with a bearing puller and then smacked it onto the smaller shaft. I used Locktite Red to make sure it doesn't come off again. When my wsw came off it was operating. Next time in the rain they will remain in place.

Since I have a pending road trip and would like one less worry (the dreaded windshield wiper highway detachment syndrome) I thought I'd give a go at inserting a grub screw through the wiper arm base into the splined post to lock them on. A dicey proposition on paper and in reality.

Here's the 2mm tap & drill set and the M2 6mm grub screws:

First I marked the position on the arm that I wanted to drill, it's on the underside so you won't notice the hole without really looking for it. I used a spring loaded punch to mark the drill bit location:

Same thing happened to me but I have the rarer polished arms (believe the base is actually chrome) which made it very hard to find a replacement.
