Stan made the chromed plastic bumper covers, send him a PM.

$4.50 each or $45 each? These listed for $6.00 at BMW and sold for about $4.50 each new. Are the ones you offer much better quality or a different material making them that much more expensive?

BMW made about 50,000 of them.
I made 40, machined from ABS plastic and then chromed. Different material, different regulations and I don't think the chrome shop I used will chrome plastic anymore.
The chroming alone cost more than BMW sold them for. If they were not NLA, I would never have made them.

These haven't been available for decades, we owe Stan a big thank you for having these made again.
Agreed! And I really don't think that Stan is in it for the money. 40 examples at $45 a shot minus the cost of remaking them certainly doesn't equate to big retirement.
i have a pair of original ones lying around ... of course my 2800cs doesn't need them. they aren't anywhere near perfect ... but if i needed a pair, i would be really thankful for Stan's repro.
