Does anyone know where to buy the socket/holder for the relays in the engine bay by battery and in the glove compartment? I see some old threads where soneone had 3d printed some. Are these availble to buy anywhere? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

If your still in need of this part I have my own version. STL and CAD available at the link.

Hi, thank you very much for this valuable information. However, I’ve printed this relay socket/holder and I’ve identified three pieces: one main holder and two small pieces that seem to lock it in place (please let me know if I’ve interpreted this correctly).

Do you recommend gluing these pieces so they don’t come loose due to vibration?

I’ve also noticed that the terminals do not fully insert; it seems that the internal dimensions may need to be checked. Please let me know if I’m doing something wrong. I printed it twice on my son’s 3D printer, but the result is the same.

Thanks again for your kindness.

3D printed

Installing for years.

Fit and work perfect.

Not multiple pieces. (Don’t go there)!

Hi Leo, sorry you encountered issues. I worked on the file over the last 2 days and improved the fit. You can find the file at GoogleDriveRelayBase. I completely started over but used the first one as an example. I printed it with a Prusa FDM and Elegoo resin printer. The orange is from a filament printer which I assume is what you have. The exact same file on a resin printer makes the connectors tighter. I will probably loosen them up some to help with the resin prints but both work with the linked file. There is an advantage for using this design. Notice in the image from the original holder that the retaining finger is mangled. It no longer holds the connector in position. My design completely eliminates this problem. The last picture shows the retaining slot in the yellow oval and you can see the plugs inserted and not inserted in the other images. There is one issue with FDM prints and that is the wing on the bottom that presses on the metal to hold it in place is fragile because of the layer lines. Be careful with that. The resin printer does not have that problem. To get the connector to fit you will need to file the wing (blue oval) so that it fits the width of the metal and paint. If anyone knows a good resin to use thats tough and flexible let me know so I can try it. The white connector is made with Sunlu Nylon like and the black with Elegoo ABS like resin. Both are too stiff. If you decide to try again please let me know the results. I will make adjustments if necessary.
