For the life of me I can't locate in my garage my right front indicator housing, the chrome base.

Now I'm at the point where I am remodelling a previous fender bender, and I need a base to verify it's fit.

looking for a cheap one, preferable crap condition, and if possible somewhat close to the Netherlands wrt shipping.

edit fyi, there are differences in the Euro/US/Italian bases. for me any base will suffice, as I expect the countour to the body to be identical. More info here:

I spend 20 minutes yesterday with a hammer, and half of the dent is already back.

Is now: 20250307_222459.jpg

Needs another hour to get it nice I think.
Much less work vs welding an section on.

Also as a comparison, here is a nos panel with a quite perfect chrome base. See how also there the fit isn't perfect?

Good job. I hope the indicator is good reference as I have faced some which have been bent with no visible cracks. I have even such a part with the inner part being pushed out significantly.

As the fenders are off the body, probably another fitting exercise will be needed once installed as heat will come into play so the panel might "play" here and there.

The best shops I have seen are using exact final ZAMAK pieces (as they might differ one to another) and tinning of the fenders/panels for ideal gaps around all the lights and gaps but it depends on the level of details you would like to have in the end.
